Kundalini Yoga, the yoga of awareness, is a stream of yoga connecting the mind, body and spirit. In addition to building physical and mental strength, Kundalini yoga also benefits the circulation, the end... ocrine and the glandular systems, as well as strengthening the nervous system and the Aura. As a certified teacher I work with clients of all ages and abilities - from beginners to intermediate levels.
I am a dedicated practitioner as I believe in Kundalini yoga's powerful effects that have allowed me to cultivate a greater sense of peace and a heightened awareness and mindfulness. I've also become increasingly stronger and more flexible and my passion is to share and guide my students to enhance their health and wellbeing while enjoying a greater sense of peace.
I tailor my classes to match your ability and guide you to develop your core strength, improving your flexibility as well as working on the chakras. The chakras are inner vortices of energy that sometimes become blocked, but with regular Kundalini yoga practice, you will learn to release those blocks creating an expanded sense of awareness, mindfulness and inner peace. In addition to performing the sequences of postures, meditation is a great way to support a connection to your inner-self and build peace. A class includes breath work, (pranayama), warm-up postures, the Kriya (a sequence of postures for specific results), meditation and concludes with deep relaxation. My yoga classes are currently held on a one-to-one basis, or with small groups online via Zoom. Individual studio sessions, (within the COVID guidelines), can be arranged to include healing and deep relaxation with the vibrations of the Gong.
By raising our awareness through Kundalini Yoga, we can see the bigger picture, or view life from a different perspective. And using our creativity enables us to find a way to be true to ourselves that lets balance and harmony enter into our lives.
